Class A motor homes are typically large, bus like vehicles with vertical or gently sloping front windshields. Despite being the largest recreational vehicle class available, in most states you still don't need a special driver's license to drive a Class A RV. Larger Class A RVs are built around luxury and space, and can be the most expensive RV’s you can get. They typically sleep two to ten people and many floor plans have slide outs that expand the living space even more. Both gas and diesels are available, with diesel models commanding a premium. The Class A's greatest strength can also be its greatest weakness, as the size makes it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. As a result, Class A RV owners can be limited in where they can go with their large RVs.
